2 The model is placed onto the Easy-
Vac platform and the heating element moved into position over the tray blank holder.
3 The heating element softens the tray blank and the material begins to sag below the level of the holder. This takes approximately 60 – 90 seconds depending on the thickness of the material being used.
4 Once the material has softened, the vacuum is switched on and the heating element is moved back away from the tray blank holder.
6 Switch off the vacuum and allow to cool for about 1 minute.
The tray blank has now been formed over the model.
7 Excess material can be removed using a scalpel or hot knife following the pencil markings made earlier.
8 The appliance is completed and ready to fit. Total time taken to construct is approximately 10 minutes.
